Saturday May 8th 5:00 PM: Artist Heather Rowe in conversation with curator Jacob Proctor at D’Amelio Terras.

Proctor is the Associate Curator of Modern & Contemporary Art at the University of Michigan Museum of Art and organized Rowe’s exhibition at the museum in October of 2009. Rowe and Proctor will discuss her installation “Trouble Everyday” which opens at D’Amelio Terras that evening. Please join us at 5 PM for the talk and from 6 – 8 PM for the opening reception. Rowe's art occupies a space at the intersection of sculpture, installation, and architecture and her constructions derive their tension from a refusal to fit neatly into any one category.
